Product workflow

From meeting input to accountable follow-through.

Groundnote creates a reviewable chain between what people said, what the AI inferred, what a person confirmed, and what the team still needs to do.

1. Capture meeting input

Start with browser recording, an uploaded audio or video file, a pasted transcript, a Microsoft Teams transcript available through a configured Microsoft Graph connection, or an optional configured Recall.ai bot.

Capture availability depends on workspace configuration and source permissions. Recording and transcription require appropriate participant notice and legal review.

2. Structure candidate outcomes

Groundnote processes the meeting input into candidate decisions, commitments, tasks, risks, opportunities, follow-ups, and unresolved questions. These outputs begin as AI inferences, not accepted facts.

3. Return to the evidence

Where source material is available, a reviewer can inspect supporting transcript context, speaker attribution, timestamps, confidence state, and attached evidence instead of relying on a detached summary.

Evidence makes a claim reviewable; it does not guarantee the AI interpreted the conversation correctly.

4. Put a person in control

Reviewers can confirm, edit, dispute, or reject an extracted outcome. An assignee can accept, correct, or dispute a commitment through a verification request before inferred ownership is treated as agreed.

5. Connect reviewed work

Selected reviewed tasks can be pushed to configured Jira, Asana, Linear, or ClickUp destinations. Groundnote retains the meeting context while the destination system manages execution. Connector behavior and maturity vary by provider.

6. Bring unfinished work back

Pre-meeting briefs can resurface overdue commitments, unresolved questions, and stale decisions so follow-through continues beyond a single recap.

What Groundnote does not assume

  • An AI-generated owner or deadline is not automatically a confirmed commitment.
  • A product control does not make every deployment compliant.
  • Every integration is not enabled automatically; permissions and configuration matter.
  • Groundnote is not a replacement for the project, CRM, or collaboration systems your team already uses.
